Now the picking is done, it is time to start tasting the first of our coffee. Over the last few weeks we cupped our coffee 3 times with different local experts. The coffee did well. Qualified for specialty grade. Not a coffee you would travel around the world to taste but something much better than you will find in a super market.
Very pleased. It is very chocolatey and orange, which is a beautiful combination with substantial body. Although it is a matter of opinion, I like it best medium roast still able to taste all of the nicer flavors and because it has great body it will make a good expresso.
