Today, we had a photo shoot on the farm. Media Luna, the black stud horse, got to pose for the Animales calendar. Here are some 'unofficial' shots.
We had great fun: As the photographers wanted flowers in the background, Media Luna got to eat a few. Turns out he especially likes ginger. He got to see the little mare in pursuit of a brillo shot - we got more than we bargained for with that one. More excitement than I need in a day. He also got to smell some different things, yes that picture that looks like he is laughing is a horse smelling.
A bit of an adventure for all and good to support this local charity that rescues and sterilizes dogs. Our little dog joy was an Animales rescue dog and we love the work they do.
